Copyright Infringement: Protecting Your Rights

Copyright Notice


The Chopper Builders Handbook takes copyright infringement seriously. Our Copyright Agent for notice of claims related to copyright infringement on this website can be reached by:


- Sending an e-mail to chopperbuildershandbook@yahoo.com  

- Sending a letter via U.S. Mail to:  

  Chopper Builders Handbook  

  1490 River Park Blvd.  

  Napa, CA. 94559


For the notification to be effective, it must include the following:


1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.  

2. Identification of the copyrighted work.  

3. A statement that the Complaining Party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in question is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and  

4. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the Complaining Party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.


Upon receiving the written notification containing the above information, we will:


- Remove or disable access to the material that is alleged to be infringing.  

- Forward the written notification to the alleged infringer (the 'Alleged Infringer').  

- Take reasonable steps to promptly notify the Alleged Infringer that access to the material has been removed or disabled.


Counter Notification: To be effective, a Counter Notification must be a written communication provided to our Designated Agent including substantially the following:


1. A physical or electronic signature of the Alleged Infringer.  

2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, including its location before removal.  

3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the Alleged Infringer has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.  

4. The Alleged Infringer's name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district where their address is located, or for any judicial district where we may be found if their address is outside the United States, and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who provided notification or their agent.


Upon receipt of a Counter Notification containing the outlined information, we will:


- Promptly provide the Complaining Party with a copy of the Counter Notification.  

- Inform the Complaining Party that we will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it within ten (10) business days.  

- Replace the removed material or cease disabling access within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, unless our Designated Agent receives notice of an action seeking a court order to restrain the Alleged Infringer from infringing activity related to the material on our network or system.


The Chopper Builders Handbook is dedicated to protecting intellectual property and actively prevents copyright infringements. Having dealt with hundreds of cases involving unauthorized use and sales of our own materials over the past decade, we understand the challenges faced by other craftsmen, artists, and fabricators in protecting their original works. We are committed to working with other builders to ensure their rights are safeguarded.


Ownership of Materials


All materials on this website, including text and images, are protected by copyright law and are owned by Chopper Builders LLC (Chopper Builders Handbook) unless otherwise credited. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast, distributed, or transmitted in any way except for personal, non-commercial use.


Prior written consent from the copyright holder is required for any other use of the materials. The copyright of all images on this site remains with the artist, fabricator, drafter, creator, or copyright owner at all times.


No part of this site may be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose or financial gain.
